A free beachside festival with live DJs, outdoor yoga, & vegan eats is coming to Vancouver

28 July 20252 Mins Read

With August rolling around in a matter of days, it’s hard not to feel like summer is passing us by rather quickly. But that doesn’t mean that there aren’t still plenty of opportunities to check out some live music, outdoor yoga, or enjoy bites by the beach —  and the upcoming Vancouver Vegan Festival offers all of the above, free of charge!

Grab your swimsuits and yoga mats, because you won’t want to miss this.

Presented by Earthsave Canada, the massive plant-based celebration promises mouth-watering eats and beachy beats to all who attend, with a number of “feel-good activities” planned for all ages.

There will be free yoga and wellness classes all day long, as well as a sustainable market to peruse and live DJ sets right by the water.

Even better, all food and beverages will come in ShareWares containers and cups in an effort to go zero-waste.

Here are the local vendors you can expect to find at the festival’s sustainable market, so far:

  • Chikhuya
  • Kama Yogic Shop
  • Root & Tail Pet Nutrition
  • LeafFilter Gutter Protection
  • Arbonne
  • Rolling Cabin
  • Peace People Project

Hungry for the culinary deets? Festival attendees can expect to see a little bit of everything, from festival staples like Rotato Potato and Taco Nori, to vegan restaurant royalty like Chickpea, The Burrow, and Roasted Revolution. And that’s just for starters.

Ready to get the party started? You can reserve your spot online ahead of time to ensure you get to take advantage of all the free fun the festival has in store.

Mark your calendars!

When: Saturday, Sept. 6, 2025
Time: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: Kitsilano Beach Park
Cost: Free admission
