A huge career fair is coming to Edmonton and you could land your dream job

23 June 20252 Mins Read

Adventures are best had in the summertime, and there’s no journey quite like starting a new job! Whether you’re just entering the field or are looking for something new and exciting, the Edmonton Career Fair could help you kick off a new chapter.

The Edmonton Career Fair

If you’re ready to get the ball rolling, Edmonton’s upcoming expo is a great place to start.

Here, hopefuls will be able to get in front of hiring managers, network, and apply on the spot to companies big and small.

Not only will this be an excellent opportunity to learn about options, but you’ll also learn more about how to appeal to potential employers, which will help now and in the future.

Who will be there?

Once you’ve updated your resume, you’ll be on the right path, but who will be in attendance?

From college campuses and the armed forces, this event will showcase the following:

  • WOW! mobile boutique
  • NorQuest College
  • Stock Transportation
  • Parallèle Alberta
  • 41 Canadian Brigade Group, Canadian Armed Forces
  • Visual College of Art & Design
  • Mikisew Cree First Nation Education Authority
  • Reliable Controls
  • Blood Tribe Police Service
  • San Global Inc
  • Selections Career Support Services
  • North Central Co-op
  • Robertson College
  • 3rd Canadian Division
  • Canadian Property Stars
  • Combined Insurance
  • Qulliq Energy Corporation

What to know before you go

Once you’ve got your eye on something, it’s time to register.

Visit their website here to initiate the process, and then mark your calendar for July 3.

Be sure to dress for the job you want and bring several printed copies of your resume.

Organizers recommend coming prepared with a 30-second elevator pitch and a friend for support, but don’t worry. It will only cost them their time, because it’s free to attend!

After the event, follow up with recruiters and cross your fingers, because this could be the beginning of something wonderful.

We’re rooting for you!

Good luck, and happy applying.

When: Thursday, July 3, 2025
Time: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: 9797 Jasper Ave. Salon 8, 9 and 10, Edmonton, Alta.
Admission: Free to attend
