A huge new 10-pin bowling alley and arcade has opened its doors in Edmonton

3 March 20262 Mins Read

There’s a new bowling alley in town, and it is absolutely massive.

Splitsville is Edmonton’s new one-stop shop for everything fun. It operates mainly as an expansive bowling alley, but also offers a large arcade, as well as food and beverage options. It’ll operate as the best new place to go out, have fun, and get together with friends and family.

Its doors opened on Feb. 27, 2026, awaiting your arrival.

What to expect

First things first: Splitsville is the only place in North America where you can bowl in your own shoes. Instead of wearing those uncomfortable bowling shoes, you can roll up in your own kicks and stay in them. This is absolutely huge.

This new location on the north side of Edmonton is located in Christy’s Corner on the north side. Splitsville spans across 31,000 square feet, with the centre delivering Splitsville’s high-energy entertainment experience. This means 21 lanes of 10-pin bowling, as well as interactive games, VIP lanes, lounge-style seating, and lane-side food and drink service.

With the Northwest location now open, Edmonton can also expect a South Commons location on its way. With the opening slated for 2027, this location in progress will have 20 lanes of 10-pin bowling, including VIP lanes for an upgraded experience, as well as a lively arcade with the hottest new VR games and classic favourites.

“Our success across Calgary has shown us just how much Albertans value shared entertainment experiences,” said Andy Johnson, managing director at Splitsville Bowl, in a press release. “Expanding into Edmonton was a natural next step, and we’re excited to bring our one-stop entertainment hub to both the north and south sides of the city, designed for people of all ages to come together through play, food, and fun.”

Are you ready to jump into this extravagant bowling alley for a game or two? I sure am.

Address: 13543 St. Albert Trl. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
