A Labubu rave is coming to Vancouver next month and it looks like pure mischief

14 August 20252 Mins Read

If there’s one trend that has prevailed over the summer, it’s the infamous Labubu. And if you’re looking to get you and your plushie all dolled up for a night out on the town, there’s a Labubu rave coming to Vancouver in just a few short weeks, believe it or not.

The viral doll originates from a line of collectible plush toys by Hong Kong illustrator, Kasing Lung. His series “The Monsters” features tiny elf characters with exaggerated facial expressions, and a head “Labubu” to rule them all.

This September, the “mischievous king of chaos” is at the centre of this night out at Greta Bar. The popular arcade bar is hosting what they’re calling the “biggest Labubu Rave,” so now is your chance to bring your tiny pals along for a night out and show them off to your friends.

Guests can expect “cute but chaotic energy” in addition to special guest DJs that night, as well as hourly Labubu and merch giveaways starting at 10 p.m.

The Labubu Rave will take place on Friday, Sept. 5, 2025, from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. the next day, with free entry before 9:30 p.m. Otherwise, a fast pass is $12.29 per person, which allows you to enter the fun at any time of night.

Mark your calendars, Labubu lovers!

When: Saturday, Sept. 5, 2025
Time: 9 p.m. to 3 a.m.
Where: 50 W. Cordova St.
Cost: Free admission before 9:30 p.m.
