A library book sale is coming to North Vancouver next month and most items are $2 or less

30 January 20262 Mins Read

If you’re on the hunt for new reads to curl up with before winter’s end, there’s a huge library book sale to make note of in North Vancouver.

How much will each book cost?

The Friends of the North Vancouver District Public Library is hosting a book sale this February over Valentine’s Day weekend, and almost everything is $2 or less.

According to the library’s socials, all items are half off on Sunday, so collect all your loonies and change and prepare to feel like a king.

At the sale, book lovers will find all kinds of fiction and non-fiction works, as well as a selection of DVDs, CDs, and more. All proceeds of the sale will go towards funding special projects at the district library.

When is the February book sale?

While the library’s first book sale of the year is slated for Friday, Feb. 13, to Sunday, Feb. 15, 2026, there are a couple more to keep an eye out for in the coming months.

This includes a May book sale from May 29 to 31, and an October book sale from Oct. 23 to 25.

So, there you have it. Mark your calendars and get ready to pick up a couple of new titles in just a few short weeks.

When: Friday, Feb. 13 to Sunday, Feb. 15, 2026
Time: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and until 2 p.m. on Sunday
Where: 1277 Lynn Valley Rd., North Vancouver
Cost: Free admission, most items under $2 each
