A new Value Village just opened in Toronto and you can hunt through 30,000+ new items a week, Life in canada

8 May 20252 Mins Read

A brand-new Value Village store just opened in Toronto on Thursday, and it’s set to offer some incredible bargains and hidden treasures.

The new store is located at 2549 Weston Rd. in the Pelmo Park-Humberlea neighbourhood of North York.

If you live in the west end or commute through there, you’ll want to keep this spot on your radar — especially if you’re always on the hunt for affordable gems.

The new store is conveniently located near Weston Station, accessible via the TTC, GO Transit and UP Express. Plus, free customer parking if you’re driving in — so whether you’re commuting or cruising, getting your thrift fix just got easier.

Value Village isn’t new to the Toronto thrifting scene. With 165 stores already sprinkled across Canada and over 11,000 employees, it’s been championing secondhand shopping for decades. This latest addition is all about keeping that momentum going.

Over the past four years, the brand says it has helped divert 1.5 billion pounds of reusable goods from Canadian landfills. That’s a whole lot of waste given a second chance.

And there’s more than just good shopping vibes. The opening also marks a new partnership with the Kidney Foundation of Canada. While Value Village is a for-profit corporation, it partners with charities like the Kidney Foundation by accepting donations on their behalf and paying them for donated items, helping fund programs that support people living with kidney disease.

According to Value Village, shoppers can expect a fresh drop of about 34,000 items every week at the new Weston Road location, including everything from vintage denim and designer steals to quirky housewares and well-loved books.

Whether you’re in it for the fashion finds or just trying to declutter and donate, the new Value Village is all about giving secondhand a second life — and making a positive impact while you’re at it.
