A new waterfront electronic music festival is coming to Metro Vancouver

20 July 20262 Mins Read

With festival season in full swing and big events like Osheaga on the way, it’s easy for electronic music lovers in B.C. to feel a bit left out. If that resonates, get ready to mark your calendars for the brand-new Public Disco Festival, an underground electronic music festival that will take place at North Vancouver’s iconic Shipyards this fall.

For one day only, the waterfront space will transform for a day of all kinds of electronic music, with Leon Vynehall (U.K.), Fred P (New York), Prosumer (U.K.), and DJ Holographic (Detroit) headlining, with support from Vancouver’s Dane and Calgary’s DJ Hannah.

As its name suggests, the new event is organized by Public Disco, the team behind Vancouver’s popular summer block parties and pop-ups. The festival celebrates a decade of Public Disco, and organizers are planning to go all out.

In addition to two stages of live music all day long, there will be a Vinyl Lounge tucked away inside the Pipe Shop with live visuals and immersive sounds by Lobe Studios, as well as a visual program curated by ephemeral objects. This space offers the perfect spot to slow down, converse with friends old and new, and get lost in the surreal blend of sound and projections.

Here are all the performing artists slated to take the stage at this year’s Public Disco Festival

  • Leon Vynehall
  • Fred P
  • Prosumer
  • DJ Holographic
  • Dane
  • DJ Hannah
  • Scott W.
  • Kozue
  • Christa Belle
  • Serena S
  • Toi Whakairo (live visuals)
  • Clara (live visuals)
  • Laine Butler (live visuals)
  • Ephemeral Objects (live visuals)

How much are tickets?

Festival tickets are now available online for $55 per person, going up to $65 and $75 for Tiers 2 and 3, respectively. So if you’re eyeing a pair, it’s best to snag them sooner rather than later!

The 10th annual Public Disco Festival will take place from 2 to 10 p.m. on Oct. 3, 2026.

When: Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026
Time: 2 to 10 p.m.
Where: 125 Victory Ship Way, North Vancouver
Cost: $47.50 to $75 per person
