A popular reality show filmed in Alberta and here’s where to watch the episode

4 July 20252 Mins Read

A coast-to-coast adventure, with twists, turns, and plenty of pit stops! The Amazing Race Canada contestants have competed in wind, rain, snow, small towns, and against big personalities, but this upcoming season, they’ll take on Red Deer.

The Amazing Race Canada

Love reality TV? Mark your calendars.

Ten shocking seasons have come and gone, but one of Canada’s most challenging games will return to CTV this month.

Hosted by Olympian Jon Montgomery, season 11 of The Amazing Race Canada will feature 11 dynamic duos all hoping to outrun and outplay each other for a cash prize of $250,000.

To get there, they’ll have to think fast and remain calm as they solve clues, complete tasks, and navigate their way through some of the most incredible places across the country.

According to CTV, determined canucks will kick things off in Edmonton, before travelling to Red Deer where they’ll stop at The Silver Buckle and Canyon Ski Resort, home of Alberta’s first and only alpine coaster.

“We’ve been keeping a little secret,” Tourism Red Deer wrote on social media.

“The season premiere of The Amazing Race Canada Season 11 races into Red Deer —showcasing all the MORE Central Alberta has to offer and we couldn’t be more excited… Let the race begin — right from the heart of Alberta!”

Want to see how it all unfolds?

You can tune in to CTV, CTV.ca, or the CTV app on July 8 at 9 p.m. to catch all the action.

Good luck to everyone competing, especially local racers Jesse Harink of Sherwood Park, Skylene and Blair from Edmonton, as well as Osas and Esosa from Calgary.

We’ll be rooting for you and can’t wait to see an Albertan at the finish line.

As for the fans? Happy viewing and enjoy. You never know what could or could not happen along the way.

It’s going to be an exciting journey.
