Abby Lee Miller Offers Blunt Opinion on Katy Perry's Tour Choreography

16 May 20252 Mins Read

Abby Lee Miller is giving her two cents on Katy Perry‘s dancing skills.

The polarizing dance teacher, who rose to fame on the hit reality show Dance Moms, used her expertise to evaluate Perry’s concert choreography during a recent podcast episode—and it’s safe to say Miller didn’t hold back.

In the latest episode of her Leave It on the Dance Floor podcast, Miller reviewed various clips of Perry from her recent Lifetimes Tour concerts, bringing her to the conclusion that the “Firework” singer is “not a dancer.”

“She’s not dancing,” the 59-year-old reality star declared, while one of the clips showed Perry, 40, turned around to attempt some sort of twerk-like dance move.

“She’s not even twerking,” Miller claimed, explaining that Perry was just moving her feet rather than bouncing her bum around like a proper twerk requires.

“It doesn’t really jiggle,” Miller said.

After watching another one of Perry’s moves, Miller said, “I can do that in the wheelchair.”

The dance studio owner has been in a wheelchair for several years after undergoing emergency surgery in 2018 for what was believed to be a spinal infection, but ended up being Burkitt lymphoma.

“C’mon Katy,” Miller also said in the clip. “God gave you two legs let’s dance.”

“They saved money on a choreographer that’s for sure,” Miller added, before concluding with the assessment, “She’s not a dancer.”

“@katyperry, open your purse!” the caption on the Instagram post read. “We know a choreographer for hire👀💃🏻.”
