Absolut Brings the Heat With ‘Bold’ New Vodka Flavor Collab

Absolut just dropped what could be the hottest collab of 2026—no, literally.

The top-ranked vodka is a celebrity favorite for more reasons than one, and its latest release is likely to amp up its popularity—especially if you’re one to order a Bloody Mary (or just prefer bolder cocktails over sweeter ones). In what’s been dubbed a “long overdue” partnership comes the new Absolute Tabasco, a “perfect” pairing down to the packaging.

“Absolut has never been afraid to mix things up or shy away from bold moves and flavor,” Caroline Begley, vice president of Marketing for Absolut’s U.S. division, shared in a Jan. 28 statement. “This year we’re bringing the heat with the launch of Absolut Tabasco. We’re proud to partner with another icon and one of the world’s leading hot sauce brands to add a spicy kick to both classic and trending vodka cocktails.”

Absolut and Tabasco Launch Vodka With a “Spicy Kick”

The new Absolut Tabasco takes the popular Swedish vodka and infuses it with a natural essence created from the fermented, aged red pepper mash that’s used to make the hot sauce fans know and love, according to an official description. In a nod to the condiment, the bottle borrows Tabasco brand hues and its diamond label, while the “apothecary-inspired” shape is “unmistakably Absolut.”

“We are thrilled to bring the unique flavor of Tabasco Sauce to Absolut’s smooth premium vodka,” Kate Neuhaus, the director of global marketing communications at McIlhenny Company, added. “We share a rich heritage and a commitment to quality—and this new partnership is a testament to both. It’s the perfect match.”

The new spirit is 38 percent alcohol by volume (ABV), gluten-free and perfectly mimics the vinegary-peppery scent and flavors of the popular hot sauce it’s named for without being overwhelming. The heat doesn’t hit all at once, either, but builds gradually and lingers—like an authentic hot sauce. It’s recommended to be enjoyed as an easy shortcut for a classic or frozen Bloody Mary, a simple swap for spicing up vodka lemonades or martinis, or even on its own as a shot (which will really warm you up from the inside out).

“With more than 150 years of pepper expertise, it only made sense for us at Tabasco Brand to partner with Absolut Vodka, another brand with a storied history that understands and cares about the craft that goes into its product,” Christian Brown, the head of agriculture and a sixth-generation family member at McIlhenny Company (the makers of Tabasco Brand products) shared. “Tabasco Brand exists to light up everything we touch, and the powerful blending of these two iconic liquids (and unforgettable bottles) is long overdue!”

The new Absolut Tabasco chili pepper-flavored vodka is expected to be available at spirit retailers nationwide now, alongside other flavored vodkas from the brand, including Absolut Citron, Absolut Lime, Absolut Mandarin, Absolut Vanilla and Absolut Wild Berri. The 750 mL bottle can also be purchased online directly from Absolut (subject to availability) for about $35.
