ABTA Board Adds Former Government Minister David Rutley

The ABTA Board of Directors has appointed former Government minister and MP, David Rutley, to the Board with immediate effect.

The ABTA Board of Directors has announced the appointment of David Rutley, former Government minister and Member of Parliament, as a new member of the Board. The appointment is effective immediately.

David Rutley most recently served as Minister for the Americas, the Caribbean, and Overseas Territories at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO). His 14 years as an MP included roles such as Minister for Food and Animal Welfare. Prior to his political career, Rutley held director-level positions at organisations including Barclays and Asda.

The ABTA Board stated that Rutley’s experience in government, particularly with the FCDO, is expected to contribute to the Board’s discussions and activities.
