Domes Resorts has joined ABTA’s Partnership programme as its inaugural Hotel Partner, a strategic expansion to enhance collaboration within the UK travel industry.
ABTA, a trade association for UK travel agents, tour operators and the wider travel industry, has officially included Domes Resorts in its Partnership programme. This marks the first time a hotel brand has been admitted as a partner, broadening the scope of ABTA’s collaborative efforts within the travel sector. The inclusion of Domes Resorts into the programme is part of a strategic initiative to diversify the types of businesses involved, which traditionally included airlines and tourist boards.
The ABTA Partnership programme serves as a platform for companies offering specialized services, products, and expertise to connect with ABTA’s extensive network of members, which includes over 4,300 travel-related companies in the UK. By becoming a Hotel Partner, Domes Resorts will now have the opportunity to enhance its visibility and sales through direct engagement with leading UK travel agents and tour operators.
Domes Resorts, known for its properties in Greece and Portugal, will benefit from various partnership advantages. These include access to marketing support, travel industry insights, and networking opportunities. Hotel partners like Domes Resorts also gain complimentary access to ABTA’s Tourism Accommodation Health & Safety Technical Guide. They can avail themselves of a discounted Travelife for Accommodation sustainability certification program membership.
Expanding the ABTA Partnership programme to include hotels aims to provide a more comprehensive offering to ABTA members, who now have privileged access to a broader range of vetted suppliers. This initiative is expected to foster stronger relationships and support sales growth within the UK travel trade.
ABTA has expressed intentions to continue expanding this new category by welcoming more hotels keen on building robust relationships with the UK travel industry. This move is anticipated to increase the visibility of participating hotels in the outbound market and enhance their booking volumes through ABTA members.
ABTA members are encouraged to visit the official ABTA website for further information on how Domes Resorts and other partners can support business growth.
