  • Abu Dhabi’s hotel industry experienced a remarkable boost during Showdown Week, an annual festival centered around a major UFC event. According to preliminary data from CoStar, October 2025 saw the highest hotel occupancy levels since 2008, with an impressive 86.2% occupancy rate, a 1.7% increase from the previous year.

The average daily rate (ADR) surged by 18.2% to AED809.28, while revenue per available room (RevPAR) climbed by 20.2% to AED697.38, both reaching their highest October levels since 2009. The festival, which combines mixed martial arts and entertainment, drew significant crowds, boosting the hospitality sector’s performance.

Daily occupancy peaked at 95% on October 28, the highest since December 2024. The ADR reached its zenith at AED 987.39 on October 25, and RevPAR hit AED 925.43 on October 29, marking the highest figures since February of this year.
