Last year, Accor set a record in new signings, opening 293 hotels and resorts and adding 50,000 rooms to its portfolio. This development activity has laid the groundwork for further expansion in 2025.
Accor’s global network now includes over 5,680 hotels and 850,000 rooms, with an additional 1,381 properties and 233,000 rooms in development. In 2024, the company’s development performance was especially strong in the Middle East and Asia-Pacific regions. In 2025, over 60% of Accor’s planned openings are focused within these regions.
Emerging consumer trends, such as gig tripping, conscious travel, and a preference for less crowded destinations, present significant growth opportunities. Accor’s development strategy remains committed to sustainability, with 36% of its hotels eco-certified by the end of 2024.
Accor’s loyalty program, ALL, recently reached 100 million members.
Accor continues to strengthen its Premium, Midscale & Economy Division with a targeted approach to growth. The company aims to tap into emerging trends like conscious travel and bleisure to enhance its offerings.
Accor’s luxury portfolio, which includes landmark hotels such as Raffles London at The OWO; The Plaza, A Fairmont Managed Hotel in New York; Sofitel Roma Villa Borghese in Italy; and Hôtel des Arts Saigon – MGallery Collection in Vietnam, continues to expand in key markets.
Accor’s strategic growth is also evident in its Luxury & Lifestyle division, which opened an average of one hotel project per week in 2024. The division has a robust pipeline of over 280 properties in development.
