Accor is set to expand its footprint in Australia and New Zealand following a major portfolio agreement with Bayview International Hotels & Resorts.
This partnership entails Accor taking over the management of three significant properties: The Sydney Boulevard Hotel in East Sydney, Bayview Geographe Resort in Busselton, Western Australia, and Wairakei Resort Taupo in the North Island of New Zealand. The management transition is scheduled to take place in May 2025.
The strategic expansion reflects Accor’s dedication to delivering top-tier hospitality experiences across the Pacific region. The three properties, which are prominent among locals and visitors, will be integrated into the Accor family.
All three properties will undergo substantial refurbishment before being relaunched under Accor brands, enhancing their appeal to both domestic and international travellers. Until the rebranding, the hotels will continue operating under their current names.
