The Addison City Council has approved a development agreement for the $240 million Addison Junction project, a mixed-use development at the Addison Circle Silver Line Station.

The Town of Addison has approved a development agreement with Quadrant Investment Properties for the construction of Addison Junction, a $240 million mixed-use project. The development will be located at the Addison Circle Silver Line Station, linking the area to DART’s Silver Line and DFW International Airport.

The 14-acre development will feature a 155,550-square-foot mass timber office building, a 140-room hotel, 30,000 square feet of entertainment space, and a 12,000-square-foot event venue named The Hangar. Additional amenities will include restaurants, a Texas-themed beer garden, rooftop patios, and public plazas, integrating the project with Addison Circle Park and the Cotton Belt Trail Corridor.

Addison will contribute $40 million towards infrastructure and the construction of two public garages, while private investment is expected to account for over $200 million. The project is expected to generate $300 million in annual economic output and support more than 1,600 permanent jobs upon completion.

The project has been in planning stages for several years, with land acquisition around the rail corridor beginning in the 1980s. The Addison Circle Special Area Study, adopted in 2019, has guided the development plans. Originally envisioned with higher residential density, the project shifted its focus to commercial and entertainment uses due to market changes and development partnerships.

Quadrant Investment Properties, selected as Addison’s partner in 2025, will lead the development. The location is strategically positioned at the intersection of Addison Circle, Addison Airport, the Dallas North Tollway office corridor, and the town’s bus transit center. The DART Silver Line, currently under construction, will connect Addison to a 26-mile commuter rail system, linking several key areas including Plano, Richardson/UT Dallas, Carrollton, Cypress Waters, Dallas, and DFW International Airport.

The development aims to create a pedestrian-oriented district combining office, hospitality, and entertainment, leveraging its proximity to the Silver Line for regional connectivity.
