Adventures by Disney has officially pulled back the curtain on its 2026 and 2027 lineup, and the new itineraries are already causing a stir for anyone looking to bridge the gap between high-end boutique travel and family-friendly storytelling.
While the brand has always been a go-to for those who want to see the world without the stress of logistics, the newly revealed “reimagined” journey through Italy’s Sicily and the Amalfi Coast is the clear standout that has us ready to pull the trigger on a deposit.
The eight-day southern Italy escape is an evolution of a longtime guest favorite, now updated to offer a more seamless flow between Sicily’s volcanic landscapes and the sun-drenched, iconic cliffs of the Amalfi Coast.

According to Disney Parks Blog’sAli Beemer, these trips are designed to be more than just sightseeing tours. “There’s something magical about traveling to destinations that seem to have it all… cities that buzz with energy, cultures shaped by centuries of tradition, and coastlines so beautiful they feel straight out of a dream,” Beemer shares.
On this particular Italian route, that dream manifests as a guided experience on Mount Etna—Europe’s highest and most active volcano—where guests explore lava fields before heading to the ancient Teatro Greco in Taormina for sweeping views of the Ionian Sea. The cultural immersion continues with a private Sicilian puppet show and an interactive workshop with a master puppeteer.

As the journey moves toward the Amalfi Coast, the focus shifts to the artisanal roots of the region. “You’ll meet and learn from local artisans in a pasta-making class in Gragnano (Italy’s pasta capital) and a ceramics workshop in Vietri sul Mare–experiences that will have you saying, ‘la dolce vita!'” says Beemer. The itinerary also features a visit to Herculaneum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site described as “one of Italy’s most remarkably preserved Roman towns that was originally lost to time in the eruption of Mount Vesuvius–allowing you to walk through ancient streets frozen in time.”
For those looking beyond Europe, the 2027 expansion also introduces brand-new land adventures in Thailand and a combined trek through Croatia and Slovenia.
The Thailand itinerary spans 10 days from the klong boats of Bangkok to an Asian elephant sanctuary in Chiang Mai, while the Croatia and Slovenia trip offers a mix of alpine scenery at Lake Bled and kayaking along Dubrovnik’s ancient city walls.
“What I love most about these adventures is that no two days feel the same,” Beemer notes. “One day you might be exploring a vibrant city, and the next you’re connecting with local traditions or soaking in coastal views that you’ll be talking about long after you return home.”
With dedicated Adventure Guides handling every detail, the focus remains entirely on the experience, making these new departures a definitive bucket-list choice for the next two years of travel.
