Minor Hotels has announced the appointment of Ahmad Shaban Fernandez as the Cluster General Manager for its properties NH Collection Dubai The Palm and Dukes The Palm Dubai Hotel. The appointment is effective from August 1, 2025.
The two properties, located on Palm Jumeirah, comprise a total of 1,097 keys. Fernandez will be responsible for overseeing operations and strategic direction for both hotels. Additionally, he will lead the repositioning of Dukes The Palm.
The properties are situated on Palm West Beach, a location known for its proximity to major attractions in Dubai and a 30-minute drive from Dubai International Airport. The location offers direct access to a beachfront promenade with various dining and entertainment venues.
Fernandez’s appointment is part of Minor Hotels’ strategic focus on enhancing its presence in the Middle East. The company aims to leverage synergies between the two hotels to provide expanded facilities and dining options.
Minor Hotels’ portfolio on Palm Jumeirah also includes Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort and Avani+ Palm View Dubai Hotel & Suites, with a combined total of 1,771 keys.
