Air Canada will continue its non-stop flights between Ottawa and London Heathrow throughout the Winter 2025-26 season.
Air Canada has announced that it will maintain its non-stop flights between Ottawa and London Heathrow during the Winter 2025-26 period. This decision ensures year-round connectivity between Ottawa and the United Kingdom’s largest airport.
The flights, currently available for booking, will operate three times a week on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The outbound flight, AC 888, will depart Ottawa at 21:55 and arrive in London at 09:20 the following day. The return flight, AC 889, will leave London at 12:00 and arrive in Ottawa at 14:30. The winter schedule will run from November 2, 2025, to March 27, 2026.
This service extension marks Air Canada as the only Canadian airline providing a non-stop connection between Canada’s capital and Europe. The route offers travelers a variety of onward connections at Heathrow to destinations across Europe, the Middle East, India, and Africa.
In addition to the London Heathrow route, Air Canada plans to operate over 450 weekly flights to and from Ottawa this winter, covering a range of regional, domestic, international, and transborder destinations. The airline’s decision to extend the Ottawa-London service reflects its strategic focus on maintaining strong international links from Ottawa.
