The latest recall to add to your radar if you happen to live in Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, or Washington D.C, is a recent one from Albertson’s affecting three Greek salad products sold in the companies deli.

Fresh Creative Foods initiated the recall after discovering that the affected salads contained cucumber ingredients from Bedner Growers, Inc. of Boynton Beach, Florida, which have been linked to an ongoing Salmonella outbreak that has hospitalized a total of nine people so far. The affected products include Salad Greek Authentic FS, Readymeals Salad Greek SS, and Salad Greek FS, which were sold between May 20 and May 24 at ACME, Balducci’s Food Lovers Market, Kings Food Markets, Safeway, Shaw’s, and Star Market locations.
As of now, shoppers are urged not to consume the affected products and to dispose of them or return them to the point of purchase for a full refund. You can also contact Albertsons Companies’ Customer Service Center at 1-877-723-3929 Monday through Friday from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. PST for any questions regarding the recall.
