If you love keeping your lips moisurized while also going for a luxurious glistening look, then lip oils and lip glosses are probably your go-to. While there are a lot of best-selling lip oils on the market, you don’t always have to reach for a mainstream beauty brand. Aldi may be a grocery store, but they often have beauty products in their weekly Aldi Finds drops. And this week they’re releasing a moisturizing lip oil that’s so similar to Charlotte Tilbury and Lancôme versions that are nearly 10 times the price.
From March 26 to April 1, Aldi will be selling Lacura Lip Oil for $3.99 at local U.S. stores while supplies last. This lip oil is called “Moisturizing Glossy Lip Oil,” which really hits home what it’s meant to do; Aldi’s lip oil is meant to not only hydrate your lips but also keep them super glossy, making this a great choice for your next lip product purchase.

Lacura Lip Oil, $3.99 at Aldi
Aldi
The lip oils come in boxes that state the tube or container of lip product is 0.34 fl oz. That’s a pretty standard amount of lip gloss or oil, as we’ll see in a little bit. They also come in three colors: clear, pink and cherry. It’s unclear if they’re all different scents—the “cherry” red one makes us think that they are—but the three colors are enough to want to buy them all. Obviously a clear glossy lip oil is a great versatile choice, but who can resist a pretty pink and cherry-red glossy lip too?
Because Aldi has such a huge presence in the UK and Europe, the U.S. often sees beauty products months or even a year after they’re released overseas. And Aldi’s Lacura lip oils have gotten lots of good reviews online.
Charlotte Tilbury — Charlotte’s Magic Lip Oil Crystal Elixir, $40 at Ulta Beauty
Ulta Beauty
In fact, the quality and type of lip oil Aldi’s selling is so similar to others out there, like Charlotte’s Magic Lip Oil Crystal Elixir by Charlotte Tilbury. It costs $40 at Ulta Beauty and comes in a 0.27 oz tube. This “crystal elixir” is meant to hydrate your lips as well, and gives off an insane sheen.

Lancôme — Juicy Tubes Original Lip Gloss, $25 at Sephora
Sephora
Another product that Aldi’s Lacura lip oil is similar to is Lancôme’s Juicy Tubes Original Lip Gloss, which costs $25 at Sephora. This one is a lip gloss, so the consistency is a bit different than a lip oil. However, from the 0.5 oz tube to the “high shine finish” and “clear sheer” color, the “Pure” color of this Juicy Tubes seems like pretty similar to Lacura’s clear lip oil.
If you love collecting lip products or just need a new hydrating lip gloss-type product, then Aldi’s Lacura Lip Oil seems like the right fit for you. With it’s inexpensive price and quality, it’s worth checking out.
