Aldi Is Selling Perfect-for-Spring $13 Rain Boots Similar to Designer Styles Over 12x the Price

With spring coming up, you can expect more rain than snow. You know the saying, “April showers bring May flowers,” right? And if you find yourself without proper rain boots for the coming wet weather, Aldi’s upcoming Aldi Finds drop has some good ones to choose from. Not only are they cute and perfect for spring, but they also look like designer styles by Jimmy Choo, Dolce Vita and Steve Madden that are over 12 times the price.

From Feb. 26 to March 4, Aldi will be selling their Serra Ladies Spring Rain Boots for $12.99 in local U.S. stores while supplies last. What’s nice about this drop is that these rain boots come in three different styles that can fit anyone’s aesthetic. All are made with water-resistant outer material to withstand rain (duh) and they all have grooved bottom soles to help with traction. All three of them also are slip-on styles so they’re easy to throw on.

Serra Ladies Spring Rain Boots, $12.99 at Aldi

The first style in the Serra Ladies Spring Rain Boots is the beige pair. It’s a taller ankle boot in a peach-colored beige. The opening is wider and tapers down slightly towards the foot. There are two straps with bronze buckles on the side: one is near the opening and one wraps around the front of the ankle. Lastly, it has a bit of a heel with very noticeable ridges on the bottom for traction.

The second pair of rain boots is their olive pair. These have a lower heel with a lot less visible grooves for traction on the bottom. It’s a narrow rain boot with a tab at the back to help you pull it on.

What’s unique about this one is that it has a sock design around the ankle that goes down near the ankle bone. The sock is olive green with gray, black and white stripes near the top of the ankle. The rest of the shoe is made from a dark olive green glossy water-resistant rubber material.

And lastly is Aldi’s black spring rain boots. These are a matte material (still rubbery and water-resistant), with a thicker heel and platform giving it a “lug sole” look. The bottom has similar ridges to the beige boot, most likely giving it pretty good traction.

It’s a taller ankle boot as well, with a pull tab at the back of the ankle. There are elastic panels on either side of the ankle to give it a bit of stretch to help pull them on (and to style add to its overall look).

As we mentioned before, these Aldi rain boots are similar to Jimmy Choo’s Rubber Rain Boots, which are currently $159 on TheRealReal (they were originally $265). These are nearly identical in design to the beige boots at Aldi. They are a neutral, light tan color with a slightly wider opening. They have two buckles in the same spot along with a heel and ridged bottoms.

Then there’s the Dolce Vita Women’s Tropic H2o Knee High Boot, which costs between $40 to $66.76 on Amazon. These have a similar sock design to Aldi’s olive rain boots and are a more muted olive green. The main differences are the outsole and the color of the sock, but the overall design is quite similar.

Dewdrop Black Chelsea Lug Ankle Boots, $79.95 at Steve Madden

And lastly, we have Steve Madden’s Dewdrop Black Chelsea Lug Ankle Boots. They’re currently $79.95 and have a similar silhouette to Aldi’s black rain boots. As their name says, these are lug sole boots, meaning they have a chunkier outsole, heel and platform. They have a pull tab and elastic panels on the sides too.

With Aldi’s Serra Ladies Spring Rain Boots looking so much like designer styles for a much more affordable price, they’re definitely worth checking out. Especially if you’re in need of some water-resistant boots this spring.
