Aldi Is Selling Super Cute $15 Sneakers Similar to Designer Styles up to 7x the Price

If all cute shoes out there were affordable, our homes would be overflowing with them. Lucky for us—but not for our closet space—Aldi often releases cute sneakers or other shoes that are well within our budgets. This upcoming week, they’re doing it again and dropping super cute casual sneakers that look like designer styles by Steve Madden, Dolce Vita and Hugo Boss that are up to seven times the price.

From Feb. 26 to March 4, Aldi will be selling their Serra Ladies Casual Sneaker for $14.99 in the Aldi Finds section of local U.S. stores. They’re a classic retro-style design with a thick outsole and uniquely textured bottom soles that wrap up the heel of the shoe. It almost looks like bubbles on the rubber soles, which are meant to be grooves for traction. They’re a chunkier shoe with a low profile, almost like 2000s Reebok styles.

In addition to the overall stylish look, the outside of the shoe has some cool color-blocking and seam design. There are two colors—beige and olive—and they both use their color palettes to create a chic sneaker.

The beige color has darker beige suede sections near the heel and the toe of the shoe, which flows up over where the laces are. There’s a lighter beige on the rest of the shoe, with a wavy white faux leather section on the side. The outsole is white and the rubber bottom is black.

The olive color has the same design, with a dark olive green on the heel and front parts, a light green as the base of the shoe, and a wavy cream-colored design on the side. The outsole on this one is cream or off-white, with a brown or tan rubber bottom. Both shoes have white laces.

Campo Beige Multi Lace-Up Sneaker, $89.95 at Steve Madden

As we mentioned above, these Aldi sneakers are very similar to other designs out there, including Steve Madden’s Campo Beige Multi Lace-Up Sneaker, which is $89.95. Overall, it’s nearly the same look: a chunky sneaker with a thick outsole and a unique rubber bottom that wraps up past the heel. It even has nearly identical suede designs on the side of the shoe, including a pinkish-beige section around the heels, front and laces. The wavy seam style is a bit different, but they’re comparable.

For a shoe that rivals the look but isn’t exactly the same, there’s Dolce Vita’s B.ntcd Sneakers. They’re currently $150 and have a similar retro vibe. These also have a suede color-blocking design on the upper part of the shoe that rivals Aldi’s (or vice versa). The rubber bottom on these doesn’t have a bubble texture, but they do wrap up the heel in the same way as Aldi’s and Steve Madden’s.

Mixed-Material Lace-up Trainers With Suede Trims, $209 at Hugo Boss

Lastly, there’s Hugo Boss’s Mixed-Material Lace-up Trainers With Suede Trims, which costs $209. This one isn’t as similar, but there’s a comparable vibe; the chunky fashion sneaker look, the suede color-blocked beige sections on the front, heel and laces, etc. These are a bit more angular, whereas the others we’ve mentioned are more rounded. But they’re pretty close.

So if you’re looking for new sneakers that are cute and nice enough for parties or brunch, Aldi’s Serra Ladies Casual Sneakers might be what you’re looking for. Plus, with the price and how much it looks like other shoes out there that are several times the price, it’s worth checking out.
