Aldi shoppers are begging the store to “not discontinue” this very popular snack item.
The cult-favorite discount grocer has become a go-to source for freezer finds that “don’t disappoint,” summery sides, cheap treats and even Williams Sonoma houseware dupes, however, the latest item to win over fans is one that appears to only be around for the summer.
“Please, for the love of Christ, do not discontinue these,” one fan begged alongside a photo of the item in question: Clancy’s Spicy Dill Pickle Flavored Wavy Potato Chips, which according to an official description, are gluten-free and “topped with a spicy dill pickle seasoning blend for a kick of heat in every bite.”
Others who’ve tried the variety claim the chips are easily a “favorite” that’s on par with name brands like Doritos.

“These are amazing!” a different Redditor exclaimed.
“I love these. You should try dipping them in the Texas Roadhouse fried pickle or rattlesnake bite dip 🤤,” someone else suggested.
“So I am still angry at Aldi for not having the All Dressed this summer…AND I think dill pickle chips are overdone at Aldi; many variations. So I wanted to hate these, but I couldn’t,” another admitted. “And that’s about the highest praise I can give a product.”
“My fav chips for sandwiches. I’ll have to stock up come the end of summer,” one more added–a statement several others echoed.
Those looking to stock up can find 9.5-ounce bags of the chips currently available for just under $2 at the grocery store (prices may vary by location).
We’ve reached out to an Aldi spokesperson to confirm the chips are, in fact, seasonal and will update this post with any relevant insight.
