Easter is fast approaching, and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t the slightest bit excited to possibly host an Easter bash that would put the Easter bunny to shame. It would be a stylistic fever dream a la Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel mixed with Yorgos Lanthimo’s Poor Things. We’re talking a vibrant, concentrated color palette complete with ornate decor that feels like it was dreamt up by Salvador Dali. We’re going for a whimsical Alice in Wonderland vibe with a touch of French chalet class—but exceedingly casual.

Who am I kidding? Casual isn’t in my vocabulary, and apparently, it’s not in Aldi’s either. The penny-pinching supermarket chain knows a thing or two about giving us plenty of drool-worthy home decor and tableware that looks like it came straight out of a Pottery Barn catalog for a fraction of the cost, and we don’t have to sacrifice quality to get the over the top without trying too hard look we’re after. That’s why when I saw their latest colorful spring-ready Aldi Find, I audibly gasped. They’re perfect!
Aldi
These stunning Glass Plates by Aldi’s Crofton line of home goods look just like a style from Pottery Barn, almost 6 times the price. Perfect for an al fresco Easter brunch or outdoor garden party, this beautiful plate set features four dishes in pink, green, blue, and yellow hues. The plates also sport a gorgeous hobnail texture that makes them feel slightly vintage, which would pair perfectly with the star jasmine and climbing hydrangeas dripping from the trellis above.

Best of all, this exquisite set of dinnerware will only set you back a meager $12.99, which is a considerable discount from Pottery Barn’s $80 price tag. In addition to being beautiful (and cost-effective), the plates are also dishwasher-safe, making them easy to clean after use. Sounds like a no-brainer to me! The only thing we’re missing now is Doechii’s stylist, Sam Woolf, to hook us up with our party-ready lewks.
