Alfonso Perez-Vega has been promoted to general manager of The Brown Palace Hotel and Spa and Holiday Inn Express Downtown Denver, both managed by Highgate. In this role, he will oversee operations across both properties.
Perez-Vega joined Highgate in December 2023 and was appointed as complex hotel manager to The Brown Palace and Holiday Inn Express Downtown Denver in April 2025. He has nearly 14 years of experience in hotel operations, beginning as a bellman and advancing through various leadership roles. His career includes positions in Los Angeles, Austin, and Denver.
Perez-Vega has led teams through hotel openings and large-scale property transformations, with experience in operational execution and change management.
The Brown Palace Hotel and Spa and Holiday Inn Express Downtown Denver are sister properties. Perez-Vega’s responsibilities as general manager include overseeing operations at both locations.
