All map and weapon loot pool changes in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4, also known as “Override,” will take you into a video game-themed world featuring new map POIs, weapons, and items from hit games franchises like Sonic the Hedgehog, Mega Man, and Pac-Man.

Override sees the return of the beloved Sprite from Chapter 7 Season 3, but also features a new mechanic in override consoles, which are giant buildings scattered around the map. Players who interact with them can change the way the game is played, as long as they get there first.

Here’s everything new in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4, including the map, weapon loot pool, and more.

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 map and POIs

The Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 map features three new major POIs, but also a bunch of new minor POIs. Here are all the POIs that can be found on the new island:

• Green Hill Zone
• Reality’s Reign
• Stone Sanctum

Additionally, minor POIs will not automatically be revealed on the map in Chapter 7 Season 4. You’ll need to discover these landmarks as you would the others. Some are noticeable on the map, like the Pac-Man and Blinky islands, but others are a bit smaller, like the override consoles and car washes.

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 weapons and items

In Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4, there will be new weapons, items, and gizmos. As for weapons, there will be two new weapons available at the start of the season, with two more joining later on:

• Midas’ Masterpiece: A pistol that can eliminate foes with one headshot, but it only has a limited amount of ammo.
• 8-Bit Shotgun: A gamified automatic shotgun that features a scoreboard of its own. Deal damage and perform trick shots to earn points. Players who earn 100,000 points will earn a special effect.
• Mega Buster: Mega Man’s iconic cannon can shoot pellets, quick-charged shots, or long-charged explosive projectiles.
• Kingdom Key (coming later in the season)
• Rebecca’ Guns (coming later in the season)

Additionally, the following guns have been unvaulted:

• Pump Shotgun
• Assault Rifle
• Ranger Assault Rifle
• Drum Gun
• Minigun (Loot Hack)
• Tactical Pistol
• Dual Pistols (Loot Hack)
• Oni Shotgun (Loot Hack)

There will be three new items at the start of the season:

• Sonic Power Sneakers: Move as fast as Sonic as you spin, zip, and dash around the map. These sneakers also allow you to perform a spin attack midair.
• 1-Up Token: A respawn token that allows you to respawn with your inventory after you’re eliminated.
• God Mode Llama: Use this to become an unstoppable wrecking ball.

Additionally, four items have been unvaulted:

• Flare Gun (Loot Hack)
• Bass Boost (Loot Hack)
• Overdrive Grenade
• Chug Splash (Loot Hack)

Lastly, there will be four new gizmos at the start of the season:

• Cheat Code Locator: Locate the nearest cheat code.
• Extraction Accelerator: Instantly summon the extraction crate at a nearby extraction site silently.
• Llama Supply Drop: Call a llama-themed supply drop to your location.
• Spicy Taco: A consumable that will heal you and give you a speed and stamina boost. If you consume this with your squad, you’ll have a taco time party.

What else is new in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4?

As Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 is centered around video games, a lot of the new gameplay mechanics are catered to things you may find in games. As soon as you log into Fortnite, you may notice an “admin panel” button in the top right corner. If you interact with it, you can insert lobby hack codes, which will give you rewards like XP, sprites, and cosmetics.

The main mechanic of the season is Overrides, which will let you change the way your game is played. However, this can only be done at Override Consoles, and only by the first person who interacts with it. Overrides will affect the entire lobby and they can make you faster like Sonic, gain more XP, have infinite stamina, and much more.

As you explore the map, you’ll run into cheat codes, which look like a glitched wall with arrow keys. Interact with one and input the same code you see to get a free Sprite. This also means that Sprites are returning this season, but you won’t be able to use your Sprites from Chapter 7 Season 3. Instead, a whole new cast of Sprites will be available.

Lastly, you can use Sprite dust on loot hacks, which will add new items to your loot pool. These items will not regularly drop until you unlock them with Sprite dust in the Override menu. Additionally, you can use more Sprite dust to increase their drop rate from chests.
