A number of new Exotics were introduced in Revenant, Destiny 2’s. As of act 1, there are at least three armor Exotics and two weapons. And while a surprise Exotic could always pop up, we know for certain that an Exotic mission will be available sometime during Revenant — likely in act 3, like in Echoes.
In this Destiny 2: Revenant guide, we’ll walk you through each of the new Exotics this episode, and how to get them. We’ll update this guide throughout the episode if and when new Exotics are released.
Alethonym Stasis breach grenade launcher

Alethonym is a rare kind of Exotic, and is only the second ever primary ammo breach grenade launcher. It also deals Stasis damage, meaning it lives in the top slot, whereas the other primary grenade launcher, Fighting Lion, lives in the energy slot.
Alethonym’s primary Exotic perk is Harvester Spike, which causes kills with the weapon to generate Vestiges. More powerful enemies create more Vestiges. Absorbing a Vestige allows you to activate its secondary perk, Vestigial Alchemy. After grabbing enough Vestiges to charge 50% of the Vestigial Alchemy bar, you can special reload to cause the next shot to create a Special ammo brick for you and your allies. At 100% energy, you can create a Heavy brick instead.
Alethonym is the season pass Exotic, and is immediately available for those who own Revenant. For free-to-play players, you’ll need to progress the season pass to rank 40. A Catalyst will become available for Alethonym later in the episode.
The exact specifications for the return of Icebreaker — the beloved Exotic sniper rifle from the original Destiny — aren’t out just yet, as the Vesper’s Host dungeon that it drops from isn’t available until Oct. 11. But based on a recent developer stream, we know a bit about the gun works.
When you get kills with weapons other than Icebreaker, you’ll regenerate Icebreaker ammo, up to 10 shots. Bungie has also teased that the new version of Icebreaker will have some kind of interaction with Stasis.
Like all dungeon Exotics, Icebreaker is a random drop from the final boss in Vesper’s Host.
Blastwave Striders Titan leg armor

Blastwave Striders are Stasis-focused Titan legs. Their main perk, Blastwave Striders, gives you resistance to explosion self-damage. Defeating enemies charges the armor. Once the armor is charged, you can either deal explosive damage to yourself or slide to cause an explosion which jumps you backward and scatters Stasis crystals around the arena. This explosion also grants you Frost Armor.

Mask of Fealty Hunter helmet

Mask of Fealty is a Stasis-focused Hunter helmet. Its main perk is Null Factor, which causes Withering Blade hits and bounces to create a small Stasis crystal and refund some melee energy. Using a Withering Blade to destroy a Stasis crystal or shatter a frozen target will create an eruption of Withering Blades.

Rime-Coat Raiment Warlock chest armor

Rime-Coat Raiment is a Stasis-focused Warlock chest piece. Its main perk is Bleak Domain, which enhances your Bleak Watcher turret with enhanced range. It also causes it to create Stasis crystals around it, as well as a Stasis storm. You gain Icicles while standing in the storm, which causes any shots fired from inside to slow targets.
