All Of Us Are Dead Season 2 To Begin Filming Summer 2025

Picture: All of Us Are Dead – Netflix

After waiting what has felt like years for a significant update, What’s on Netflix has recently learned that filming for the second season of All of Us Are Dead is to begin in Summer 2025.

All of Us Are Dead was first released on Netflix in January 2022. It quickly became one of the most successful non-English originals on the platform, ranking as the second most successful Korean original, behind the worldwide phenomenon Squid Game. Unsurprisingly, given the series’ success, it was renewed for a second season. However, much to the fans’ disappointment, the news over the past three years has been relatively slim or underwhelming, such as when filming, which was initially scheduled for 2024, was pushed back to 2025.

Fans will be pleased to learn that filming is now expected to take place in Q3 2025, most likely from August, and is scheduled to conclude sometime in late 2025, likely in December 2025. Please note that filming dates are subject to change, and we’re awaiting official confirmation from Netflix.

The potential filming dates also align with the news that actress Roh Yeon Seo has withdrawn from starring in the second season due to a scheduling conflict. The actress is currently busy filming the K-drama East Palace, which began in December 2024, and is due to end by late July 2025. Given that the filming schedule for East Palace occupies a significant portion of Q3 2025, it’s easy to see why the actress withdrew from All of Us Are Dead season 2.

When will All of Us Are Dead season 2 be on Netflix?

Thanks to the filming schedule, we know that All of Us Are Dead will not be released in 2025. A release in the second half of 2026 or early 2027 is most likely.
