All The New Bollywood/Indian Movies & Series Added to Netflix in October 2025

31 October 20256 Mins Read

Picture: Netflix

October introduced an eclectic mix of Indian content into Netflix’s catalogue.

In addition to some big-budget theatrical releases from across India, October saw Netflix add a silent comic thriller and a hit Gujarati horror sequel. Netflix’s own new Original offerings include its first Tamil series, a Hindi short film, and an animated series based on revered religious texts. Here are all of the Indian movies and series added to Netflix in October 2025.

Be sure to check out our HUGE Indian slate preview for the rest of 2025 and beyond.

N = Netflix Original

New Indian Movies on Netflix: October 2025

War 2 (2025)

Languages: Hindi, Portuguese, Spanish, Tamil, & Telugu
Runtime: 173 Minutes
Director: Ayan Mukerji
Cast: Hrithik Roshan, NTR Jr, Kiara Advani
Genre: Action | Added to Netflix: October 8

The follow-up to 2019’s Bollywood action classic War left fans and critics disappointed. Hrithik Roshan returns as Indian super-spy Kabir. As part of a covert operation, he’s forced to kill his mentor, prompting a global manhunt led by his mentor’s soldier daughter (Kiara Advani) and another spy who’s Kabir’s equal: Vikram (NTR Jr). Twists, turns, and plenty of callbacks — plus some sequences lifted from the Mission: Impossible franchise — can’t save this messy thriller. There isa  separate catalogue entry for the Telugu-dubbed version of War 2, while other dubbed dialogue options can be selected from the original Hindi version’s audio menu.

Greater Kalesh (2025) N

Languages: Hindi, English, Tamil, & Telugu
Runtime: 52 Minutes
Director: Aditya Chandiok
Cast: Ahsaas Channa, Supriya Shukla, Happy Ranajit
Genre: Family Drama | Added to Netflix: October 17

This is a rare Netflix Original “featurette,” with a runtime of less than one hour. When Twinkle returns home to surprise her family for Diwali, her unexpected visit uncorks all the resentment that her family members have bottled up. Can their relationships survive the fallout? Additional dialogue options can be found in the film’s audio menu.

Vash Level 2 (2025)

Languages: Gujarati & Hindi
Runtime: 103 Minutes
Director: Krishnadev Yagnik
Cast: Hitu Kanodia, Janki Bodiwala, Monal Gajjar
Genre: Horror | Added to Netflix: October 22

Even after purging every other Gujarati film from its catalogue, Netflix was willing to pay handsomely for the streaming rights to the hit horror sequel Vash Level 2. Set 12 years after the events of Vash, protective father Atharva must once again rescue young girls controlled by a demonic force — and there’s a connection to the demon that left his own daughter Aarya a shell of her former self. Though the original Vash is not currently streaming on Netflix, its official Hindi remake Shaitaan is. Vash Level 2‘s audio menu contains a Hindi-dubbed version and a Gujarati descriptive audio track.

They Call Him OG (2025)

Languages: Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, & Tamil
Runtime: 151 Minutes
Director: Sujeeth
Cast: Pawan Kalyan, Prakash Raj, Emraan Hashmi
Genre: Action, Thriller | Added to Netflix: October 22

Set in the 1970s, a young martial artist survives a massacre at his dojo, making his way from Japan to Bombay to start a new life. His deadly katana skills help him bring order to a lawless shipping port. Years later, he and his sword are called back into action when a ruthless gang aims to take over the port. They Call Him OG faced several filming delays due to star Pawan Kalyan’s political commitments as deputy chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. Additional dialogue options can be found in the film’s audio menu.

Idli Kadai (2025)

Languages: Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, & Telugu
Runtime: 145 Minutes
Director: Dhanush
Cast: Dhanush, Arun Vijay, Sathyaraj
Genre: Drama | Added to Netflix: October 28

Tamil superstar Dhanush wrote, directed, and produced in Idli Kadia, which he also starred in. Murugan worked hard to escape his small town and make it big in the city, but his father’s death prompts him to return and take over his family’s rice cake shop. Learning how to run a small business is hard enough, but he finds himself thrust into the middle of family conflict and political pressure that risks undoing his father’s legacy. Additional dialogue options can be found in Idli Kadai‘s audio menu.

Ufff Yeh Siyapaa (2025)

Language: Hindi
Runtime: 116 Minutes
Director: G. Ashok
Cast: Sohum Shah, Nushrratt Bharuccha, Nora Fatehi
Genre: Comedy, Thriller | Added to Netflix: October 30

Ufff Yeh Siyapaa is listed in the catalogue as a Hindi movie, but there is no dialogue whatsoever (though a Hindi audio description track is available in the film’s audio menu). A mute man named Kesarilal thinks things are bad when his wife leaves him, wrongly accusing him of flirting with their pretty neighbor. Then a parcel of drugs is mistakenly dropped off at his address, and he finds a dead body in his house. Can Kesarilal figure out what’s going on before the cops pin the crimes on him?

New Indian Series on Netflix: October 2025

The Game: You Never Play Alone (2025) N

Languages: Tamil, English, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, & Telugu
Seasons: 1
Episodes: 7
Cast: Shraddha Srinath, Santhosh Prathap, Chandini Tamilarasan
Genre: Crime, Thriller | Added to Netflix: October 2

Despite this being Netflix’s first Original Tamil series that isn’t an anthology, the streamer released The Game: You Never Play Alone with little fanfare. Shraddha Srinath stars as a Kavya, a game developer beset by online trolls. When masked attackers target her and her family, Kavya’s virtual danger becomes all too real. Additional dialogue options — including Tamil and Hindi audio description tracks — can be found in the show’s audio menu.

Kurukshetra: The Great War of Mahabharata (2025) N

Languages: Hindi, English, & 8 more
Seasons: 1
Episodes: 18
Cast: Vinod Sharma, Sahil Vaid, Saumya Daan
Genre: Mythological, Animated | Added to Netflix: October 10

Netflix tackles one of India’s most important sacred texts with the animated series Kurukshetra: The Great War of Mahabhrata. Chronicling the aftermath of a war of succession, Netflix says:  “The series unfolds through the perspectives of 18 key warriors, each navigating their inner dilemmas, personal vendettas, and the devastating cost of a war that pits brother against brother.” Though animated, the series is written for a general audience and not for children. Legendary poet and lyricist Gulzar wrote the songs for Kurukshetra, the first two episodes of which are streaming for free on YouTube. Additional dialogue options can be found in the show’s audio menu.

Ongoing Weekly Indian Series on Netflix: October 2025

C.I.D. (2025)

Language: Hindi
Seasons: 4
Episodes: 90
Cast: Shivaji Satam, Dayanand Shetty, Aditya Srivastava
Genre: Police Procedural | New Episodes: Saturday and Sunday

C.I.D star Dayanand Shetty told Bollywood Hungama that, although the series airs concurrently on both Netflix and Indian pay-TV channel Sony Entertainment Television, “our major audience is on Netflix.” The teaser below is truly something to behold:
