Thursday’s Xbox Partner Preview featured a myriad of announcements, like a Bond car reveal for 007 First Light, a new game from Vampire Survivors developers, and perhaps the strangest Elusive Target mission Hitman World of Assassination has seen yet. It also included some exciting sequel reveals, new footage of already-announced titles, and a surprise game drop.
For anyone who missed the Xbox Partner Preview, these are the biggest reveals, trailers, and releases that you missed.
007 First Light Aston Martin trailer
Some fans had speculated that the car shown under the tarp in a 007 First Light trailer was the Aston Martin Valhalla, and these suspicions were confirmed by IO Interactive in a new trailer all about the high-tech vehicle. Souped up with lots of firepower, the Valhalla will be available to players alongside Bond’s classic DBS.
Hitman World of Assassination Elusive Target Slim Shady
Hitman World of Assassination is getting one of its most delightfully-strange Elusive Target missions yet: Slim Shady, the alter ego of Eminem. Not only that, but Agent 47 has been hired by Eminem himself to do the job — Slim Shady has become completely separate from the rapper, and he’s a danger to his creator.
Vampire Crawlers, a deckbuilder from Poncle
Poncle, the developer behind Vampire Survivors, is back with a brand-new roguelike deckbuilder. Fans of the first will see many familiar items like the whip and garlic return, and experience the same sort of “just one more run” compulsion, but this time in the form of a dungeon crawler. Currently, the game has no set release date.
Dave the Diver port & In The Jungle DLC
Dave the Diver has finally arrived on Xbox, releasing Thursday for Xbox Series X, Xbox on PC, and Xbox Cloud. Brand-new content is also coming to the management sim for all players early next year with the In The Jungle DLC. Dave is leaving the Blue Hole for dry land, traveling to the jungle to explore new settlements and take on dangerous wildlife.
Reanimal release date announcement
Reanimal, the upcoming horror game from Little Nightmares developer Tarsier Studios (don’t worry, the company didn’t work on the third one), has officially received a release date of Feb. 13, 2026. The co-op title’s new trailer highlighted new locations and mechanics the brother and sister protagonists will use on their journey to rescue their friends and escape their horror-filled home.
Raji: Kaliyuga announcement
A sequel to 2020’s Raji: An Ancient Epic was announced during the Xbox Partner Preview, bringing the action adventure series from Nodding Head Games to new heights. The upcoming Raji: Kaliyuga will feature dual protagonists, with Raji now joined by her younger brother Darsh. Set six years after the events of the first, players will control them both in different parts of the story, which deals with struggles against both mortals and gods. The game also eschews the isometric style of An Ancient Epic in favor of a full third-person perspective.
Armatus announcement
Armatus is a brand-new roguelite shooter from Godfall developer Counterplay Games and Lego Party publisher Fictions. Set after an apocalyptic event called The Vanishing, the gothic horror-inspired title sees players assume the role of a masked warrior tasked with destroying the demonic creatures haunting the ruins of Paris.
Echo Generation 2 announcement
Echo Generation developer Cococucumber is back with a sequel to the turn-based adventure game. Echo Generation 2 will keep many of the same elements of the first, like its spooky setting and combat style, as well as its ’80s and ’90s action movie inspirations, this time even including a Gremlins-esque sidekick.
Erosion announcement
Erosion is a new isometric action game with a unique mechanic: Every time players die, they respawn a decade later. During that time, the western-inspired world will go through changes and characters will age, upping the stakes to complete the mission.
Total Chaos surprise drop
Total Chaos, the survival horror game from Turbo Overkill developer Trigger Happy Interactive, surprise-dropped during the Xbox Partner Preview for Xbox Series X, Xbox on PC, Xbox Cloud, and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. Players can dive into a spooky, atmospheric world where they’ll craft weapons and fight terrifying creatures as they unfurl nightmarish mysteries.
CloverPit port announcement
As of Thursday, the demonic slot machine roguelite is available to Xbox players. Alongside its arrival on Xbox Series X, Xbox on PC, and Xbox Cloud, the Balatro-esque game is also now a part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and Premium.
Crowsworn trailer
The metroidvania from Mongoose Radio got a new gameplay trailer during the Partner Preview, highlighting more of its stylish traversal and combat style. The fast-paced game transports players to the cursed world of Fearanndal, where they’ll battle monsters and enhance their abilities as they uncover its secrets.
The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu trailer
A new gameplay trailer premiered for The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu, an upcoming co-op horror game from ACE Team, the developer behind Clash: Artifacts of Chaos. Players must work together to survive Lovecraftian horrors in an ever-shifting reality to uncover its treasures. The Mound will arrive in summer 2026.
Roadside Research trailer
The extraterrestrial co-op simulation Roadside Research will be coming to Xbox when it launches in Q1 2026. The new game from Order 13 developer Cybernetic Walrus puts one to four players in charge of running a gas station, doing daily tasks like stocking and dealing with customers. Their real goal is much more sinister, however — the humble gas station proprietors are actually aliens doing research on humanity, and if they slip up, they’ll be taken down by the government.
Tides of Annihilation trailer
An entire boss battle from upcoming action-adventure game Tides of Annihilation was shown off, with protagonist Gwendolyn using her reality-shifting abilities against a huge winged creature. The debut title from developer Eclipse Glow Games is inspired by Arthurian legend, taking place in a version of London overrun with otherworldly enemies.
Zoopunk trailer
Zoopunk is an action game that takes place in the same universe as Metroidvania FIST: Forged In Shadow Torch, slated for release some time in 2027. A new trailer showed off some of the game’s plot — which centered around a character on a search for an item called Spark — and its fast-paced, third-person combat.
