All White Nevron locations in Clair Obscur Expedition 33

27 August 20256 Mins Read

Not every Nevron in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is an enemy.

While on your journey, you are bound to run into their bright and shiny counterpart, the White Nevron. Instead of attacking you, they engage in dialogue and even ask for your help. As you listen to their plights, it may even cross your mind to kill them. Should you? We answer that question, along with where to find all of the White Nevrons in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

All White Nevron locations in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

There are nine total White Nevrons spread across the continent. Below we mention where you can find each White Nevron along with the rewards for finishing their quests.

Jar

You’ll find Jar directly next to the Abandoned Expeditioner Camp rest point in Spring Meadows. Jar’s quest line requires you to “find light” for them so they can see their Mistress. As you progress through Spring Meadows, you’ll find Resin hidden between a bunch of crates and barrels, which you’ll need to return to Jar. Once you’ve delivered the Resin, you must use Free Aim to shoot Jar’s lantern polearm to light it. After you complete the quest, you’ll receive one healing tint.

Démineur

Forward from Noco’s Hut in Flying Waters, you’ll cross an open area along with a cave where you can find Démineur. The Démineur quest line requires you to find an Intact Mine and return it to him. The mine you’re looking for is located in the same area as Démineur, but you will need to do some platforming to access it. Once you return the mine to Démineur, you’ll get the Deminerim weapon for Lune.

Grown Bourgeon

In The Small Bourgeon area next to the Flying Waters, you’ll find, well, a small Bourgeon. When you speak with it, it’ll ask for Bourgeon Skin so it can grow. To get Bourgeon Skin, you’ll need to defeat any of the Bourgeons found around the continent with the closest one being in Flying Waters. After you defeat a Bourgeon and collect its skin, return to The Small Bourgeon and give it the skin. Leave the area and re-enter it to find the small Bourgeon has grown into a normal-sized Bourgeon who will thank you with a Colour of Lumina.

Hexga

Next to the Tide Caverns Rest Point in Stone Wave Cliffs is the White Nevron, Hexga. Talking with Hexga grants the player the quest to find three glowing rock crystals in the adjacent cave. Finding the crystals can be a bit difficult as the cave is extremely dark, but as the rock crystals are glowing, make sure to look out for any bright blue crystals as you’re exploring the cave. After you’ve broken and collected all three glowing rock crystals, return to Hexga to recieve the Auto Shell Pictos.

Portier

You’ll find Portier in the Esoteric Ruins area next to Old Lumiere. Once you talk with the spirit, it asks you to retrieve an item on the other side of the maze behind it. After you make your way through the maze, you’ll enter a new area where you can find Wood Boards. Bring the Wood Boards back to the spirit to receive the Protecting Heal Pictos.

Chalier

In the Floating Cemetery, next to a pile of human bodies, you’ll find Chalier. Speaking with it triggers curt dialogue where you’re tasked with choosing which weapon it should use. No matter what you pick, the next step in the quest is to fight it inside the nearby building. However, you still get the choice to spare or kill it. Sparing Chalier will reward you with a Longer Shell Pictos, while killing them will give you the Auto Powerful Pictos.

Before you make a decision, we recommend holding off on completing Chalier’s quest until after you receive a special reward from Blanche in The Fountain.

Troubadour

The Troubadour in Stone Quarry is one of the more unique White Nevrons in the game. Rather than completing a quest, you must complete a series of trials that test your dodging ability. After you’ve successfully dodged all of the red notes, you’ll earn the Healing Parry Pictos as a reward.

Benisseur

In the Red Woods, you’ll find a mysterious fountain. Instead of completing a traditional quest like for most of the other White Nevrons, you must pour a total of 90,000 chroma into the fountain until Benisseur reveals themselves. Afterwards, interact with Benisseur to receive the Recovery Pictos.

Danseuse Teacher

In the area with the Glacial Falls Expedition Flag in Frozen Hearts, you’ll find a set of stairs along the edge of the area. Climb up the stairs and follow the tracks to find Danseuse Teacher and three minor Nevrons below you. After you talk to Danseuse Teacher, they’ll ask you to dance, which turns out to be parry trial. Successfully parry all of the attacks to get the Danseuse Outfit for Lune.

Tisseur

In Sirene, you’ll come across Tisseur, an optional boss that you may choose to kill or leave be. This giant construct isn’t too different from the other White Nevrons listed in this guide; however, it doesn’t quite count as a White Nevron. Defeating Tisseur makes the Sirene boss fight a lot easier, and it doesn’t count towards the group of White Nevrons.

Should you attack the White Nevrons in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33?

After completing the quests of the White Nevrons listed above, you can interact with them again and attack them, but should you? The simple answer is no, but at least not immediately.

If you kill the White Nevrons, you’ll gain resources such as Colours of Lumina and Chroma Catalysts, which are helpful in getting stronger and preparing for late-game content. However, you’ll miss out on a better reward from Blanche at The Fountain. According to a reddit post by user AirCautious2239, you only need to help five White Nevrons in order to earn the special reward of 100 Colours of Lumina. Additionally, if you help every White Nevron, you’ll get the “Aiding the Enemy” trophy.

It’s important to note that if you decide to attack more than one of the White Nevrons, you will be locked out of the 100 Colours of Lumina reward, so rather than attacking them immediately, complete their quests first and attack them after you’ve received your reward.

If you do decide to defeat all the White Nevrons, you’ll receive the following rewards:
