Amanda Joiner has been named General Manager of the JW Marriott Atlanta Downtown, marking her return to Atlanta, where she began her career in luxury hospitality more than 30 years ago.
Joiner previously served as Area Director of Sales and Hotel Manager in Atlanta, managing the Ritz-Carlton, Atlanta on Peachtree Street. Her career includes leadership roles in hotel operations, sales, and marketing at The Ritz-Carlton.
In 2015, Joiner became General Manager of the Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis, where she received the Global Ritz-Carlton General Manager of the Year Guardian Award.
In 2023, Joiner was appointed Global Vice President of the Ritz-Carlton Leadership Center in St. Louis, Missouri, leading a global consulting and advisory firm. She was recognized as one of the 2024 Top Women in Travel and Hospitality by Women Leading Travel.
Joiner holds a bachelor’s degree in Commercial Recreation and Facility Management from Central Michigan University and was born and raised in Michigan.
