Ambros Daytona has announced the official opening of its 50-room beachfront hotel in Daytona Beach Shores, Florida
Ambros Daytona announced the opening of a new 50-room boutique hotel in Daytona Beach Shores, Florida, in January 2026. The hotel is located on Atlantic Avenue in an area locally known as “The Shores.”
The property is located in a three-story structure originally built in the 1960s. The building’s exterior remains unchanged, while the interior has undergone extensive renovation. Upgrades include a new seawall, parking lot, pool, and pool deck, along with new decorative railings, landscaping, and lighting. The hotel offers an outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers and day beds, and a poolside cafe called The Counter, which serves light refreshments, wine, beer, and coastal fare.
Ambros Daytona features two categories of accommodations: Queen rooms averaging 325 square feet, and King Family Suites ranging from 325 to 500 square feet. Some rooms include kitchenettes and full ocean views. The rooms and suites are designed with a custom color palette and feature murals by local artist Chris Nebel. Amenities include diffusers, room sprays, and bath products scented with Apotheke White Vetiver. The hotel accepts pets under 30 pounds for an additional fee and is fully ADA-compliant.
An adjacent wellness studio, Ambros Daytona Wellness Studio, is scheduled to open in summer 2025. The 1,200-square-foot facility will offer yoga, holistic massages, surf lessons, and esthetician treatments, and will be led by Wellness Coordinator Paige Jagger. The studio will be available to both hotel guests and the local community.
The hotel is owned by Louis S. Caiola, Graham Jones, and Gregory Jones. GRJ LLC is the project’s development partner.
Ambros Daytona is part of a brand with plans to expand across Florida, focusing on coastal towns from St. Augustine to New Smyrna Beach.
The hotel is located approximately 20 minutes by car from Daytona Beach Airport (DAB) and about one hour and 15 minutes from Orlando International Airport (MCO).
