An all-day street party with live music is coming to Mount Pleasant and it’s free to enjoy

11 July 20252 Mins Read

We’re not done spotlighting summer festivals in Vancouver! This July is a busy month if you live in Mount Pleasant, with tons of pop-up markets, free festivals, arts and culture workshops, and outdoor fun to enjoy. And the community is once again coming together on Sunday, July 27, 2025, for Mount Pleasant’s favourite street party of the year: The 11th & Main Block Party.

From noon until 6 p.m., the 100 Block of East 11th Ave. will come alive with live music, food, drinks, family activities, and locally grown flowers, and it’s all free to access.

“Whether you’re a long-time local or new to the neighbourhood, this is the perfect chance to experience the best of Main Street in a single afternoon,” says the Mount Pleasant BIA.

With flowing craft brews from Main Street Brewing and tacos and slushies from Taco Loma, you’re sure to be full and satisfied under the summer sun.

There will be DJ sets all day to set the tone, including local faves DJ Jumbotron, Bryan Sea, and MPFM.

For the kids, there will be face painting with La Luna Kids, free cotton candy, and street games for all ages.

Meanwhile, the adults can peruse tons of market vendors and local shops, who will have plenty of vintage and second-hand treasures to uncover. With names like Stoxx Vintage, The Main Revival, Fish Market Studio, Matterhorn Records, Glory Days Fine Goods, and Dig It, you’ll have no shortage of cool trinkets and apparel to sift through.

Finally, you can grab a summer bouquet from local florists, Blossom & Vine and Blumen Florals, to brighten up your day.

The free celebration will take place in front of the Wenonah Building on 11th and Main Street.

So mark your calendars, friends, because this block party will be here before you know it.

When: Sunday, July 27, 2025
Time: Noon to 6 p.m.
Where: 100 Block East 11th Ave.
Cost: Free admission
