Archive code location in 007 First Light

30 May 20263 Mins Read

In 007 First Light, the archive room door code grants you access to a route into the security office, where you can upgrade Bond’s I.D. bracelet. Navigating Webb’s R&D installation in chapter 16 is a difficult task, with multiple and heavily armed soldiers everywhere. Even so, you need to find a way to reach the security office to continue the story.

One route becomes available as soon as you know where to find the door code to open the archive room in 007 First Light.

The password to open the archive room is inside a safe in the office at the end of the corridor below the operations sector. Take the stairs to your left as soon as you enter operations to reach the floor below.

Next, check the legal department room, the first to your left, where you’ll see three guards and yellow-walled cubicles. Your goal is to reach the cubicle on the right side of the room.

The first step is distracting the guard stationed at the entrance. One option to do this is by setting the rubbish bin to the right of the entrance on fire to draw his attention, or using a dart to make him leave.

With the guard distracted, get inside and don’t let the other two guards see you. Crawl your way into the cubicle on the right side and grab the safe key on the desk. If the entrance guard returns before you can leave, you can hack the printer in the room to attract his attention.

Next, head to the end of the corridor, where you will find an office to the left with two staff members. The safe with the archive room code is located under the desk, and you’ll need to distract both characters before you can open it.

Some of the options you have to make them leave the scene are using darts, hacking the charging station inside the room, and setting the rubbish bin outside the office on fire. Keep in mind that you’ll need to use separate methods to distract each one.

Once the area is clear, enter the office and open the safe. Inside, there’s a document called “Passcode,” which contains the code to access the archive room.

What is the archive room code in 007 First Light?

While the process of finding the archive room door code is not too complicated, it requires some time and resources to complete. If you don’t want to play spy in the top-secret facility, you can just go open the door. The code to access the archive room is 1864.

You’ll find the archive room on the upper floor, and inside it there’s a vent duct you can use to enter the security office and progress the story.
