10 July 20252 Mins Read

Sustainable outdoor apparel brand Arc’teryx is opening its brand-new flagship store this month and is throwing multiple free events to celebrate.

Two-day grand opening

Situated at 1001 Robson St., the new Vancouver store is set to open its doors on Saturday, July 26, and Sunday, July 27, 2025, commemorating the weekend with a two-day grand opening celebration. All weekend long, shoppers can check out all-day DJ sets, special edition products to shop, and refreshments from local vendors, including Timbertrain and GoSip coffee cart.

According to the local brand, every purchase made will be accompanied by a free limited-edition Arc’teryx Robson Street x Walk Gently cotton t-shirt.

Free outdoor climbing

Before the fun begins, there will be another free celebration on Saturday, July 12, 2025, in partnership with the Hive. Jack Poole Plaza will transform with a bouldering and top rope wall, offering visitors the chance to climb outdoors while surrounded by beautiful views of the city and the North Shore mountains.

At the plaza, visitors will also find a pop-up market featuring local community partners, along with live DJ sets and food and drink from local vendors.

“These pre-opening events are all about celebrating the city Arc’teryx calls home,” shares an Arc’teryx representative. “They will bring together local climbers, creatives, and community members to experience Arc’teryx in a way that authentically reflects its roots, values, and deep connection to Vancouver’s outdoor culture.”

So get excited and mark your calendars, outdoor lovers! Now is your chance to check out the new store and try your hand at climbing in the heart of the city.

When: Saturday, July 12, Saturday, July 26, and Sunday, July 27, 2025
