Casting news for One Piece has come thick and fast over the past several months, and while we wait for season 2 and for season 3 to begin filming, more casting news continues to drop. This time, it’s been revealed that Aroop Shergill will be playing Young Vivi in Live-Action One Piece.

It has been reported by the reliable live-action One Piece fan account, @OP_Netflix_Fan that Aroop Shergill will be playing the role of Young Vivi in One Piece.

The young actress has starred in roles in television series such as Ted Lasso, My Friend Misty, DI Ray, The Lazarus Project, and Doctor Who.
The casting of Aroop Shergill is spot on, especially when you compare her with actress Charithra Chandran, who will be playing the adult Vivi.
The same Twitter account also shared a photo with the young actress in hair and makeup, showing off Vivi’s vibrant blue hair.

There are flashbacks involving Vivi in the manga and anime that help flesh out her backstory. The first of which comes at the very end of the Drum Island Arc, where the second season is due to end. We could see Aroop Shergill as Young Vivi either right at the end of the second season, or at the beginning of season 3. At the very least, she will feature more in the third season.
