Dusit International has signed an agreement to manage a 150-key hotel in the Camaya Coast development in Bataan, Philippines, scheduled to open in 2029.
Dusit International has entered into a management agreement with Earth & Shore Leisure Communities Corporation to operate ASAI Camaya Coast, a 150-room hotel within the Camaya Coast development in Mariveles, Bataan, Philippines. The hotel is expected to open in 2029.
The Camaya Coast development spans 20 million square meters and is positioned as a growing destination for domestic tourism. Located approximately four hours by car or 90 minutes by ferry from Metro Manila, the area is seeing increased visitor numbers, with Bataan recording over 1.2 million visitors in 2024, according to the Provincial Tourism Office. This represents a 41.16% increase from the previous year.
The ASAI Camaya Coast will be the first ASAI Hotels property located within a large-scale, master-planned seaside development. The hotel will provide access to dining and retail areas, a water park, an 18-hole golf course, event spaces, and a beach. The development is also set to benefit from infrastructure upgrades, including the upcoming Camaya Airport.
The Camaya Coast development emphasizes sustainability, preserving a significant portion of its area as natural forest. This aligns with Dusit’s sustainability initiatives and will support eco-friendly activities in the region.
Dusit International currently operates five properties in the Philippines and has plans for further expansion. Upcoming projects include Dusit Hotel Greenhills Manila, Plaza de Zamboanga – Dusit Collection, and Dusit Princess hotels in Lipa and Cebu City, with additional properties scheduled to open by 2027.
The signing ceremony for the ASAI Camaya Coast took place at Baan Dusit Thani in Bangkok, with representatives from both Dusit International and Earth & Shore Leisure Communities Corporation in attendance.
