The beloved anime series Assassination Classroom has long been absent from the Netflix library in the US, but we have confirmation that it will be added to the US and UK libraries on May 1, 2026.
Assassination Classroom is a Japanese anime series produced by Lerche, directed by Seiji Kishi, and based on the manga of the same name written and illustrated by Yusei Matsui. The manga ran from July 2012 to March 2016 for 21 volumes, with over 27 million copies in circulation.
When Earth is invaded by an invincible, yellowed tentacle monster, the creature gives humanity one chance to save the planet from annihilation: the students of Kunugigaoka Junior High School Class 3–E, where the alien “Koro Sensei” is now their teacher, must assassinate him before they graduate.

Assassination Classroom is currently listed for a May 1, 2026, release on both Netflix US and UK.
