Calgary Public Presentation Dates: (3 shows) Fri April 16 at 7:00 pm, Sat April 17 at 2:30 pm and 7:00 pm

ACTOR 3: Stan/Dad/Spider/Marty 28 – 40, masculine presenting
· Stan: Channel 4 Television News Anchor
· Dad: Cedric. A 1950’s era husband, father and television salesman.
· Spider: Carl. Not having a good day.
· Marty: An old vaudevillian worm who, along with Edna, is working on an act for a televised variety show

The deadline for submissions is Monday, June 8, 2026, at 5:00 pm.
Auditions will take place in-person on Monday, June 15, 2026
Candidates will be granted an audition based on their submission material and will be asked to prepare the following:
1. Audition sides supplied by Quest Theatre when given an audition slot.
2. A song, no longer than 2 minutes in length, of your choice, acapella or with a recorded track on your phone. We will not have an accompanist.
Submissions are open to Equity and Non-Equity artists. We are currently only considering submissions from Calgary based artists. As Quest Theatre is a professional touring company, artists must perform during the day and cannot be enrolled as full or part-time students as of January 2027.
Quest encourages all artists to explore theatre for young audiences as part of their ongoing practice. We are open to inspiration from any artist who is passionate about sharing their love of theatre with young people. We welcome artists of all races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, religious affiliations, and abilities, as these represent the audience we serve. Quest Theatre is a member of the Professional Association of Canadian Theatres and operates within the jurisdiction of the Canadian Theatre Agreement. Successful candidates will be engaged under an Equity contract.
