The Ava Hotel has opened in Paso Robles, California, as the town’s first lifestyle branded hotel, offering 151 rooms and various amenities.

The Ava Hotel, part of the Hilton Curio Collection, has opened in Paso Robles, California. Located in the heart of downtown, the hotel offers 151 guest rooms and suites. Azul Hospitality Group manages the property.

The hotel is situated near the city’s historic town square, providing guests with easy access to local shopping, dining, and wine tasting venues. The Ava Hotel features a variety of room configurations, including single king, double queen, and double king layouts. Some upgraded accommodations include Juliet balconies or pool patio decks with direct access to the rooftop saltwater pool.

The architectural design of the hotel was developed by Moore 2 Design, Pegasus Architects, and Arris Studio Architects. Studio Sinclair completed the interior design in collaboration with HBA. The four-story building incorporates mid-century lines with natural materials and offers views of the surrounding wine country.

Dining options at the Ava Hotel include three venues: EMRE, a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant; Pine Street Bistro, an all-day café; and Esperanza on the Rooftop, which is the town’s largest rooftop bar and poolside lounge. The culinary team is led by Consulting Chef Julien Asseo, Chef de Cuisine Casey McMinn, Beverage Director Lannon Rust, and Director of Hospitality Operations Brandon Trowbridge.

EMRE, the hotel’s signature restaurant, will offer a menu inspired by the Mediterranean coast, featuring dishes such as whole grilled fish and lamb racks. Pine Street Bistro provides a casual dining experience with a menu of salads, sandwiches, and breakfast items, while Esperanza on the Rooftop serves coastal crudos and ceviches.

The Ava Hotel also includes 6,500 square feet of event space, with the Rooftop Courtyard and Tablas Ballroom available for various functions. The hotel aims to offer a range of activities and events, including wine tastings and local chef competitions, to highlight the region’s wine culture and community.

The Ava Hotel is owned by a joint venture between Paso Robles Hotel Partners and Peachtree Group. Reservations are available online, with rates starting at $225 per night.
