Award-winning artists Ne-Yo and Akon coming to Edmonton this summer

28 January 20262 Mins Read

Goodbye, 2025, and hello, 2016! Ne-Yo and Akon are back and bringing back the best of the 2000s and 2010s.

This summer, these two artists will be collaborating again to go on an insane global tour, the Nights Like This Tour 2026. They will be hitting stops like London, Paris, Atlanta, and most importantly, the two will be coming to Edmonton on Friday, Jun. 19. I absolutely can’t wait for it, and will personally be at the barricade myself.

“The tour brings together two generational artists whose catalogues have defined radio, nightlife, and pop culture,” shares Live Nation in a press release. “NE-YO and Akon will share the stage in a unique, dynamic back-and-forth set throughout the show stacked with era-defining hits, sing-along anthems, and club classics.”

There will be 57 stops on this tour— only fitting for legends like themselves. Not only will these artists be hitting Edmonton, but Ne-Yo and Akon will be performing in Calgary the next night.

Artist presale starts Jan. 28, 2026, at 10 a.m. local time using code NIGHTSLIKETHIS. There will also be an Amex presale beginning Jan. 28 at 9 a.m. local time until Jan. 29, 2026, at 10 p.m. local time.

If you’re looking at the general public sale, ticket sales begin Jan. 30, 2026, at 10 a.m. local time.

Whether you’re a dedicated supporter of both, a fan of Ne-Yo’s “She Knows” or “Give Me Everything,” or even Akon’s “Smack That,” it’ll be a wild ride for sure. You won’t want to miss this legendary show.

When: Friday, Jun. 19, 2026
Time: 8 p.m.
Where: Rogers Place — 10220 104th Ave. NW, Edmonton, Alta.
Cost: TBA
