Babybel Gets 'Strange' With New Netflix-Inspired Limited-Time Flavor

16 October 20252 Mins Read

We still have little more than a month to go before the release of Stranger Things’ fifth and final season, but already fans’ anticipation remains at an all-time high.

As audiences count down the days until the groundbreaking Netflix series imminent return, numerous well-known brands are doubling down on fans’ excitement with their latest limited-time offerings.

Such is the case for Babybel’s newest flavor, the Hellfire Cheese Alternative.

A fiery spin on Babybel’s classic cheese products, the brand-new flavor brings all the heat of the Upside Down to each and every bite of its delicious, creamy offering (per an official press release from the company).

“We’re thrilled to introduce Babybel’s latest innovation by bringing together two cultural favorites – Stranger Things and spicy snacking – in a flavor-filled way that feels fun and unexpected,” said Jessica Dillon, Senior Brand Director for Babybel.

“As fans crave both bold flavor and bold entertainment this launch couldn’t come at a better time,” Dillon went on to say.

Babybel’s Hellfire Cheese Alternative marks the first-ever spicy flavor from the beloved cheese brand.

Taking its name from the Dungeons & Dragons-dedicated high school group featured in the hit Netflix series, the flavor features bold and fresh fiery flavors sure to set consumers’ taste buds ablaze.

If that weren’t exciting enough, Babybel’s original cheese lineup will also be hitting stores with new limited-edition packaging inspired by Stranger Things.

The new packaging specifically references some of the show’s recurring settings, including Hawkins High School and the Palace Arcade.

The brand-new Hellfire Cheese Alternative flavor and the limited-edition packaging will arrive in stores this October through to January 2026.

Priced at $5.99 for a six-count pack, the new Babybel products will coincide with the release of Stranger Things’ fifth season on Netflix later this year.

Stranger Things Season 5 will arrive on Netflix in three different increments. The first four episodes will be released on November 26; the next three episodes arrive on Christmas; and the series finale arrives on New Year’s Eve.
