Barbra Streisand is making fans smile with her latest Instagram post.
On Thursday, April 17, the iconic multihyphenate shared an absolutely stunning photo of her yard showcasing all the signs that spring has arrived.
“Flowers are bursting,” she wrote in the accompanying caption, “welcoming spring.”

It’s unclear where exactly she took the image on her property, but from where Streisand was standing, the 82-year-old was able to capture dozens of pink and red roses covering one trellis with blooms. Behind it, a water well was also being perfectly overrun with what appeared to be climbing butter-yellow roses.
“So pretty the pink and red growing together!” one Instagram user wrote back. “Happy Spring Time!”
“Breathtaking!!!!” another exclaimed. “Happy Spring Flowers 🌹.”
“I love your garden!” one more declared. “I wish I could get your Roses here in Germany. ❤️🌹.”

The Academy Award winner actually has two rose plants named after her, a longtime favorite hybrid tea rose and a more recent discovery that she and her master gardener uncovered in the yard of her Malibu, Calif., home not too long ago.
Last June, Streisand teased the name of the “mystery” variety in a photo she posted online. “Me photographing my magical new pink rose that grew off a red rose. What a mystery… I call her Barbra’s Baby!” she declared at the time.

Fast forward to just a few weeks ago, Streisand was awarded the naming rights for her backyard discovery, as first reported by the Los Angeles Times. Her “mutant flower” is bright pink in color and was officially made available for purchase in March 2025.
