Beloved 'Chicago P.D.' Star Sets the Record Straight After 'Countless Messages' From Concerned Fans

20 July 20252 Mins Read

Benjamin Levy Aguilar is setting the record straight after a series of imposters caused confusion among his loyal fans.

The beloved Chicago P.D. actor took to his Instagram Stories on the evening of Saturday, July 19, with an urgent PSA for his followers, addressing a series of fake accounts that have been brought to his attention recently after fans reported that they were attempting to catfish folks into sending them money on Aguilar’s behalf.

Alongside several screenshots showing examples of several of the accounts in question, the actor assured fans that the account with which he was posting was the only one he used, and that he would never request money from his followers.

“I’m addressing this because of the countless messages I have gotten from people (even my representatives) of how people reach out because they are being asked for money from fake profiles using my name and photos on Facebook or Instagram etc,” he wrote. “So let me make it clear: This is the ONLY form of social media that I use.”

“Please don’t give away your money to fake profiles,” he added, assuring anyone reading that he “would never ask you for your money.”

“Thank you! ❤️💡,” he concluded.
