Beloved 'Clueless' Star, 77, Spotted Running Errands in Hollywood

14 June 20252 Mins Read

While we didn’t spot Mr. Hall flirting with her in the parking lot, what a joy to see Clueless legend Twink Caplan out and about in Hollywood!

Caplan, of course, played Miss Geist, the awkward but lovable teacher of teenage dream Cher Horowitz, played by Alicia Silverstone in the legendary 1995 film. With lipstick on her teeth and her slip hanging out, Miss Geist was a staple of Bronson Alcott High School.

In real life, Caplan is much more chic. The beloved actress, now 77, was spotted by the Daily Mail running errands at Bristol Farms in West Hollywood. Dressed in plaid pants, a white tee, and a black cardigan, the actress showed that septuagenarians can have an edgy style too. Her bright red hair was a fun addition to the outfit.

Back in 2020, Caplan opened up to TODAY about her favorite memories from the iconic film, which is still a favorite several decades later.

“The one amazing thing about Clueless is you can watch it over and over and over, and the lines still resonate, and the jokes. It still resonates today,” Caplan shared.

Caplan went on to say that she still frequently speaks to her costars from the film, including Stacey Dash, who played Tai, and Amy Heckerling, who wrote and directed the film. She even spent Passover at Silverstone’s home.

“When we see each other, it’s fantastic,” she continued.

One of the best parts of being part of film history is the insane fandom for the movie.

“To be remembered after all this time, and to kind of be loved in a way, it humbles me in a way,” said Caplan.

Caplan also appeared on the TV show version of Clueless, which starred Rachel Blanchard as Cher. However, it’s the film that captured the hearts of America.
