One of the breakout stars of CBS’s newest soap opera Beyond the GatesJibre Hordges took to social media to share highlights from his recent trip to South Africa with his fans.
The actor shared the photos and videos on his Instagram, captioning the post, “South African dump 🇿🇦
Wow. Johannesburg was everything I could’ve asked for. I talked about going to Africa for a while so I had to make it happen. Going to a safari was mandatory so I made sure I did it right: feeding giraffes, walking with elephants, petting cheetahs. I even got to walk with lions in the wild, up close and personal which was insane. Then got to pet baby Simba, an actual lion cub 🦁
The animals were a highlight but it was everything else too! The nightlife was litt all week long. The people, the culture, the atmosphere, the food, the views, were all amazing. And I couldn’t leave without visiting the Nelson Mandala statue. Definitely an experience for the books. 16 hour flight but Delta One made it a breeze. Visiting the Motherland is important so make sure y’all go check it out. Joburg owes me nothing! 🔥🇿🇦”
