BIG issues – your cheat sheet replete with elite deets

26 January 20264 Mins Read

Many in my network have said that they are “too busy” to read the facts/logic-focused content at BIG Media, and that it is easier to pick up on current events from social media.

The problem: the news that reaches you through social media is at the very least sensationalized, and routinely grossly inaccurate.

So, for your convenience, I have taken a lot of today’s biggest issues and boiled them down to one simple statement per issue – a veritable cheat sheet – along with links to articles loaded with facts and data for those who have a few spare minutes to expand their knowledge base.

Keep in mind that I had no real opinion on any of these topics until reviewing the great work of BIG Media’s team of scientists, engineers, mathematicians, and economists. I believe the statements are simple conclusions that a reasonable person would arrive at when looking at the objective analysis contained in the linked articles …

• Climate alarmism is preserved by the perversion of science committed by key institutions … “The climate cartel – how three institutions control the narrative“

• Sea level is NOT rising at an alarming rate … “Sea level is rising; should we be worried?“

• The disappearance of a glacier in Iceland is NOT an indication that humans are causing disastrous global melting … “Funeral for a glacier“

• It is illogical to suggest that severe weather events are the result of anthropogenic climate change … “Severe whether alert – it is time for news media groups to drop the charade“

• Relatively abrupt climate change has occurred in the past, and (largely suppressed) history lessons should ease concerns of today … “Medieval vineyards and the question that shall not be asked” (https:///medieval-vineyards-and-the-question-that-shall-not-be-asked/)

• The Great Pacific Garbage Patch is not a thing … “Taking a critical look at the ‘Great Pacific Garbage Patch‘ “

• Major pipeline ruptures in North American cities are a sign of (expensive) things to come … “Pipeline problems – a detailed examination of what lies beneath us“

• The lockdown-and-vaccinate prescription written by western politicians and medical officials in response to COVID-19 caused tremendous collateral damage – “Detailed analysis of 2021 death data reveals disturbing trends“

• Side effects following COVID vaccination have been widespread with a range of severity … “Analysis of severe events following COVID vaccination“

• Vaccination was NOT the reason that severe outcomes from measles infection dropped dramatically decades ago … “Unpacking surprising facts about measles“

• Dramatic increases in drone production are changing the battlefield in ways that should concern us all … “Intelligent machines are taking over the modern battlefield“

• The world is NOT running out of oil, gas, and coal any decade soon … “Technology is the path to near limitless hydrocarbons“

• Rare earth elements are vital on the road to a high-tech future, and China is driving the bus … “Rare earth elements explained – why these 17 minerals matter for energy, tech, and security“

• All that fun we are having on artificial intelligence platforms comes at a steep cost … “How AI is going to terminate us“

• Energy density is extremely important in deciding which energy sources should fuel the electrical grid … “Energy fundamentals – an essential element of the transition discussion“

• ‘Peer reviewed’ scientific studies are often nothing more than agenda-driven propaganda … “Real science requires real peer review“, Higher rates of adverse events after mRNA vaccines interpreted poorly by study authors

• Net Zero by 2050 is a silly fantasy focused on unattainable emission targets with no regard for fundamental energy realities … “Why do net-zero advocates continue to believe humanity will achieve 2050 emissions target“

(Rob Driscoll, BIG Media Ltd., 2026)
