Billy Ray Cyrus took to Instagram on Tuesday, March 25 to sing the praises of his daughters Miley Cyrus and Noah Cyrus in an emotional post that had fans praising his words.
The “Achy Breaky Heart” singer has had an often-contentious relationship with his daughters following his divorce from their mother, Tish Cyrus, in 2022.

“Holy shit . I seldom ever swear in my post but this deserves one! You are witnessing in real time what it feels like for a Dad who with in less than one weeks time has had his ass kicked and his mind blown by not one …but two of his own daughters @mileycyrus @noahcyrus,” the country singer wrote.
“Flesh and blood … completely taking their art to a whole new level . Congratulations girls ! Well done. I’m so damn proud of both of you. I’m actually crying as I write this. Thank God you can’t see me. Have fun now and be happy ! 😊 Love Dad,” he added.
The post was accompanied by a split photo that featured Miley in black-and-white and Noah in full color.
Billy Ray’s post comes as both of his daughters have new projects. Noah just released the new single, “Don’t Put It All on Me,” a collaboration with Fleet Foxes penned by her brother Braison.
Miley has a new album, Something Beautiful, set for release on May 30. She previewed the cover art in an Instagram post on Monday, March 24.
Not to be outdone, Billy Ray also has a new album, produced by Braison, that is expected to be released in the summer.
Fans gave props to Billy Ray for praising his daughters. “I hope that all of you heal or have healed your relationships! Everyone deserves a second chance ❤️,” wrote one.
“I love this proud Dad post. What a beautiful post. Everyone deserves a second chance, I hope you and your family heal. ❤️,” added another.
A third added, “What a beautiful post @billyraycyrus 👏 so lovely to see a Daddy shouting his girls success 🙏.”
